Dianne Powers
Dianne lives with her husband and two sons in Golden, Colorado, where she enjoys the serenity of the foothills and the quaintness of her small community. She was a professional modern dancer until retirement in May of 2000. Dianne's introduction to Pilates began in 1998 through rehabilitation for a knee injury. Beginning in March of 2001 Dianne attended The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, an international teaching center for instructors. She received her certification in October of 2002. Dianne values Pilates as therapeutic training for recovery and continues her studies in the area of rehabilitation with the intention to inspire her clients to propel forward to improved health. When she is not at Golden Pilates, Dianne enjoys gardening, golf, design, hiking, and cross country skiing.

Cait Lindsey
Cait is originally
from Jupiter, Florida, but found herself drawn
to the beauty of the of the mountains residing
in Boulder, Colorado, She found her passion for
Pilates while taking classes in 2007, and by
2008, she had completed a 300-hour internship in
Florida. In 2011, Cait completed The Pilates
Center Teacher Training Program of Boulder
giving her a greater knowledge and understanding
of the possibilities of movement within the
body. By truly experiencing the benefits of
Pilates in herself, it gives her teaching a
strong, passionate center that guides her
clients to embrace the life changing qualities
of the Pilates method. She believes that this
powerful method brings a greater sense of
mind-body awareness that transcends into all
aspects of life. When she is not teaching or
doing Pilates, Cait’s hiking, bike riding, doing
yoga, enjoying live music, or reading. |

Kathryn Lowe
Kathryn is a
creative and compassionate instructor who has
been offering her enthusiasm for movement to a
multitude of students for over 8 years.
Athleticism and anatomy have continually
influenced and inspired Kathryn throughout her
life and she wishes to share and instill these
values in others. Having a history as a "mover
and a shaker" herself, she enjoys dancing, rock
climbing, yoga, and hiking, for the pure
demonstration of anatomy in motion. Kathryn
graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from
Arizona State University in 2006 and completed
Pilates mat and apparatus training from the Kane
School of Core Integration in New York in 2008.
She has taught in various dance schools,
physical therapy centers, & Pilates studios
throughout Arizona, Tennessee, New York, and
Colorado. Kathryn is humbled to share the
capabilities of the human body with clients at
Golden Pilates through teaching and sharing her
love for health and movement.

Lindsey
Nelson
Lindsey Nelson lives
in Denver, Colorado with her boyfriend and two
dogs. She grew up in Ohio, where she received a
B.A. in Theoretical Mathematics. Not long after
graduating, Lindsey decided she wanted a career
shift and moved to Denver to train at The
Pilates Center in Boulder. She will graduate
from this program this summer, 2011! Lindsey is
very excited to teach the great benefits that
Pilates has to offer. She believes that good
movement can give you a happier body and a
happier mind. In her spare time, Lindsey reads,
plays in a Denver folk band, enjoys time with
her friends and her dogs, Jagger and Charlie. |

Karen
Spohn
Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Karen Spohn received a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with majors in psychology and dance. It was through dance training that Karen learned about the profound benefits of Pilates. In September 2001, Karen moved to Colorado to attend The Pilates Center Teacher Training Program in Boulder which she completed in January 2003. She is continuously reaping the benefits of working towards a uniformly developed body and has experienced first hand how Pilates greatly improved her body pre and post pregnancy. Karen is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and passion that the power of The Pilates Method can have in one’s body, mind, and spirit. She provides encouragement and patience to clients of all abilities, as she believes Pilates can be empowering for every BODY. She loves to see clients improve their body awareness, strength, balance and overall well being. When she is not in the studio, Karen loves spending time with family, and friends, and enjoys hiking, skiing, and dancing.

Nicole
Wong
Originally from Minnesota, Nicole moved to Colorado to be surrounded by the mountains. Starting at a young age to become a dancer, Nicole was introduced to Pilates through a dance instructor. She continued a personal practice through college and into her adult life. Knowing that somewhere along her journey she wanted to become an instructor herself, she looked into various places and methods to learn, receiving her teaching certificate from The Pilates Center in Boulder. Having gained a new perspective and awareness of her own body and how it moves through space she is excited to share and learn more about what the body has to offer in terms of individual needs and aspirations. Having a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa in Dance/Pre-Med, Nicole is continuously learning and inspired by the nature and aesthetic of the human body. Being amazed at what it can accomplish with the mind and spirit - whether it be dancing, walking, climbing, or just living life.
